So we have a lot!
Things are starting to bloom around here!
It’s so welcome to finally be getting some sun.
Our Summers are so gorgeous here on the Oregon Coast. It makes it worth waiting through the long Winters and rainy Spring seasons just to have these few, blissful months.
I’ll share more soon.

I’m having serious rose envy. Not sure of my ability to spell rhododendron (no spell check error, so maybe that’s it?), but I love them too!

They are sooo gorgeous! It is getting hot, hot, hot here, so we are watering away to keep the blooms coming. I have french lavender, but I think I like yours better…such huge blooms!

beautiful!! I love that Spanish lavender….do you think it would grow here in TN? I would have it everywhere!
Just came in from weeding and trimming bushes, and after filling two trash bags… It’s benadryl time, and I sat down to read my favorite blogs. I LOVE your photos, and especially the Spanish Lavendar! I’ve never seen that before. Thanks for making such a special “pinning picture” — because that’s what I did… pinned it right away on a “Flowers for our Garden” board. Beautiful! Have a wonderful day, Shannon!
Mother Nature is now giving you what you were wanting a while back…no more rain and she added the beauty of your surroundings!
Lovely. The blooms are beautiful Shannon.

So…your in Oregon- how did I not put this all together! We did the 2 day drive from Cali…every other year! My Grandma lives in Coos Bay! Love Oregon…so very pretty! Your photos are amazing Shannon- so what kind of camera do you use…because I would almost think you just scanned a photo of a postcard they are THAT good!!!
Lookin’ good, lookin’ good! You are so far ahead of us and I’m jealous – your blooms look so lovely!
You’re just getting sun and we could use some rain here, Shannon. I just got my pink hydrangeas today and am hoping to get them in by the weekend. Hopefully, it will actually rain so I don’t have to keep carrying water outside to water everything. Your rhodies look great. I was admiring the ones blooming on Long Island while I was visiting. I don’t think I’ve seen any here in Ohio.
What beautiful flowers! i adore that pink rose.
Everything is blooming beautifully! I have never seen Spanish lavender…it’s so pretty.
Gorgeous post- I have never seen Spanish lavender. Never even heard of it, for that matter. I love the little flower on top.
We have lots of green tips on our evergreens this year, too. It varies from year to year here.
No deer here- just a few DEAR that can strip flowers off a plant like nobody’s business. Of course, it is always to put in a vase-FOR ME!’>) xo Diana
Your gardens are just gorgeous Shannon!I tried some knock out roses this year…they are doing so so. I just have the worst luck with gardens….OH well, I can enjoy yours and my Moms! And of course many others out here.
Gorgeous! The deer eat everything here…even what they are not supposed to like. This was a new experience for me when we moved here. I do have Rhododendrons that they eave alone…maybe I need more.
Just beautiful. I know deer don’t eat lavender.

Everything looks so beautiful Shannon! I just started snipping the first of my roses and bringing them inside. Are you getting some sunshine today? It is a touch overcast in my corner of the NW but no rain! Woo to the hoo!
