I absolutely love decorating pumpkins! And today, I feel like I can officially start. What do you typically do every year? Maybe this is the year to do something different. Did you know that you can find the faux craft pumpkins in every shape & size? That way, you can bring them out year after year. You know my little budget-loving heart likes that money saving idea. All of these decorating ideas I’m sharing today can be done on either faux pumpkins or real ones. There is no shortage of ideas, so here are 31 Fabulous Pumpkin Decorating Ideas you can do! One for each day of October.
I am loving the gold & white trend. There are so many different ways you can make your pumpkins stand out! Don’t forget, there are a lot of different metallic shades if gold is not your thing.
Black and white is sophisticated and so classic. Give your pumpkins a modern look with card stock, white flowers, lace, ribbon or even spray paint.
Adding color to white pumpkins may be the best thing ever- because you can hold on to the white pumpkins all fall season, and then right before Halloween, they can get decorated. Go all out with glitter, succulents, lights, crayons, paints, or anything you may have on hand. Sometimes what you need is right there in your craft drawer.
Original orange pumpkins are a Halloween classic when it comes to decorating. Here are some super cute no-carve ways to adorn them this year!
Painted pumpkins are so easy to do. Pick a fun color and go to town! You can use anything from spray, to chalk & acrylic craft paints. Add details such as glitter, faces to make animals, or turn it into something unexpected.
If carving is more your thing, there are so many patterns you can find! You can do intricate details, a simple design, or of course- the regular jack-o-lantern.
(Shh…. I may or may not have a Tink collection… okay, I totally do!)
I hope you like these 31 Fabulous Pumpkin Decorating Ideas and that you have a great time decorating your pumpkins during the month of October! I’m not sure where I’m going to start?
