Affordable Christmas Gift Ideas That Are So Cute
Hey Foxy Friends!! If you happened to catch my Instagram LIVE, you got a sneak-peek at some of the super cute, easy & affordable gift ideas I’m going to share with you today. These are very budget-friendly, and simple to wrap-up or pop in a basket. Have to admit, getting these together is getting me so excited for the holidays!
Better Homes & Gardens has some extra cute stuff at Walmart this season. Come see…
Affordable Christmas Gift Ideas That Are So Cute!!
WAX WARMERS: First up is something sweet, that’ll make your gift recipients house smell yummy!! There are two sizes of Wax Warmers this season, and many are holiday themed. Both light-up and offer a soft glow. They are that perfect little something to give alone, paired with some wax melts (there are oodles of flavors!) or to add to a basket to fill it out. These are great for someone who’s got a full-house, and not a lot of room for trinkets. Also wonderful for when you just need a little something that says; “I was thinking of you”. Makes a great paring with a gift certificate or gift card too!
On Sale Now – Was $15 – Currently $7.50!
The Gift Basket: For this one, I added an always cozy and welcome Plush Velvet/Sherpa Throw, and a His & Hers Wine Glass Set. I’m terrible at selecting wine, so I opt to add a gift card so they can select something they might actually like to drink! I thought the mixed metals was fun, so I decided to use a Galvanized Metal Bin as my “basket” and added a bow to give it a ‘gifty’ feel. The silver & gold play nicely off each other.
These are so cute with the lips & mustache!
And this particular throw, with the metallic gold, glows beautifully.
3-Piece Pedestal Hurricane Set: I was really excited to see this in the stores again this year!! It’s such a great set and comes in 3-pieces. Perfect for someone just starting out and trying to fill-out their home decor wardrobe. It’s under $10 and comes with the black hurricane base (which is so versatile), the berries & pinecones ring (doubles as a small accent wreath or plain candle ring) & the red glass hurricane candle sleeve.
I used my base this holiday filled with snow and a little flocked tree! See, right next to my wax warmer.
And here it was last year, fully assembled.
Okay, back to presents…
Velvet Plush Throws: I love to snuggle up, and I don’t know anyone who doesn’t! So thick, soft, Velvet Plush Throws are always a go-to gift. They are under $15.00 (now on sale for $10!) and you can give them alone, or bundle them up with a candle, a movie, a gift card. They fit everyone!
I find these Plush Velvet Throws are perfect to have on-hand, just in case something sneaks up on you and you find yourself in need of a gift, quick! Good for men, woman & children… and always the right size!
Aroma Diffuser: I probably should have done a “one for me… one for a gift” on this one. I love it!! So much so, that I created a free printable to go along with it. Isn’t this diffuser THE cutest? It’s a 3-piece Cool Mist Ultrasonic Aroma Diffuser Set. It comes with two oils and is shaped like a festive red coffee mug with “Baby It’s Cold Outside” printed on it. Cute overload I tell ya!
Scarf Wrapped Candle: The candle selection from Better Homes & Gardens is huge, and.. they all smell really good and the fragrance carries through the house when lit. I was playing around and wound a scarf around a candle thinking it conveyed that “cozy” feel and might be a cute way to gift a Winter staple. Cute right? Then I went a step further and nestled it in a lantern, and loved it!! So the gift would be something for the home, the candle & lantern, and also something personal, a scarf. You could also pin a brooch on the scarf in lieu of the ribbon if desired. Adding some extra sparkle to the gift.
This ones not actually for my mom, I have to be sneaky in case anyone is peeking. I hope you found an idea or two that might work for you! I have a few more and I’ll try to go LIVE on Facebook one day this week to share them with you. Because honestly… I hid a few things I couldn’t find in time for this post.
Who else does that? One year, I found stocking stuffers that I bought for Jim & Austin, in the Spring! I discovered them when I was getting all my Easter basket fillers out. Of course, Austin is an equal opportunity candy eater and was happy to much the found stash no mater what holiday foil it was wrapped in!
Happy Christmastime, xo Shannon
