Appreciating the Pretty Little Things

I was out of stamps.
Totally common problem right?
So, I went to the post office.

Where I was faced with a choice…
-Buy regular old ho-hum stamps.
OR
-Buy PRETTY ONES!


The problem is,
The pretty ones are a little too pretty.
It makes me not want to use them.


Sort of like those pinterest 
Dessert Photos
you know, the kind when the dessert 
looks way too pretty to eat.

As you can imagine…
I could not “resist the pretty”
and ended up with these beautiful
Cherry Blossom Centennial forever stamps


along with these…

I try to be thankful, 
every day, 
for all that I get to experience. 
And, to be conscience of the joy 
that can be found in simple things.
I’m happy I took the time to really look at my stamps and enjoy their beauty!


Completely corny… yes, I know. 
BUT TRUE

Who knew postage could be so deep?
