A Bathroom Story, the zingy refresher!
If you’re not in shock from seeing the hideous before pictures I forced on you yesterday…
Then I have a wee refresher to share.
I promised it “soon” and figured 3 months from now didn’t really fall into the “soon” category so I am doing it right now.
I wanted to Amp–up the color and bring in some Zing to our bathroom/laundry room!
I did this by adding some new rugs and a few accessories in orange, pink, lime & aqua.
We went from this…
To this:
My Inspiration for changing things up a little was most definitely these colorful rugs!
Might as well have something fun to look at while I do laundry right?
All it takes are a few little goodies to change the entire vibe of the room! It doesn’t always have to be a major makeover.
I guess the most expensive biggest change would be the new washer and dryer.
Love Them.{so much!}
We seriously needed them too!
I held off as long as I could.
These are some hard working,
monster-load washing & drying machines.
The beauty of going with neutral paint and finishes, even in your larger pieces like cabinets and furnishings, is that you can easily change up the look of a room, bathrooms included, by simply switching out your accessories!
And anyone who visits my blog knows… nothing stays the same for long at my house.
Thanks for stopping by!
I love chatting, sharing & exchanging ideas.

Love the sherbert, yum. Also hope you will post more about the virtues of the new washer & dryer for those of us considering an upgrade. Myself I like to know what makes a loveable washer, what bells and whistles.

Wow, what a change, I love it! I want your washer and dryer, but mine is in the garage so I’d never subject them to that:)

YUMMY COLORS! Oh I love how cheery it is. I am jealous over your new appliances. When we moved here 6 years ago, my hubs told me get anything you want. Of course I picked boring traditional. I did not want to learn a new machine.

That’s awesome! Just a few brightly colored accessories really did change the whole vibe of the room. You can’t possibly hate doing laundry in there. It’s such a cheerful space. (You should see my laundry dungeon!)
