Hello! I am going to try to keep it short & sweet.
Because, after I share these photos… I plan on messing up my kitchen
and
dirtying up some dishes.
We do have a few finish details that are not done yet but you might never see it if I wait for those to be complete.
***Please visit my facebook page HERE for the tutorial on making the candy cane wall hanging.
I found myself with some unwanted golden colored ornaments. (I know, what a problem)
They were mixed in with the some of vintage ones I picked up this year. I had them set aside in a bowl because I had no intention of using them.
Well, I make such a big, fat MESS when I decorate, that I had every surface covered with stuff!
I was looking for someplace to set this cloche
(actually, a cheese dome lid. I’m cheating.)
down but everywhere was so full, I ended up popping it on top of the bowl.
Hmm… I didn’t hate it!
(which seems to be one of my decorating requirements lately)
So, it got a home.
Oddly enough… I’m totally in love with this.
and it’s Gold… Go Figure?
I really just sprinkled a few Christmas goodies in with my everyday stuff.
I love using candy canes because they
just feel so Christmasy!
More Candy Canes Paired with some
Vintage, Shiny Bright Ornaments.
(all found this year, for a song at Goodwill and Salvation Army)
I placed a kissing ball I bought at a local boutique a few years back under glass. It looks so delicate and intricate … I just love it!
My sister got me this sweet, vintage inspired snowman. He is tall & skinny and he fits just right under my cabinets!
If you visit often you’ll recognize the
white, “shabby style” wire basket
that I have decorated with twinkle lights.
It was filled with mini pumpkins throughout the Fall season and now holds Honeycrisp Apples.
(The hubby’s favorite!)
A few festive dish towels got added so that the oven wouldn’t feel left out.
Last, but not least…
Lots & lots of glitter pretty much
makes this guy a shoe in!
MERRY CHRISTMAS
… off to make some cookies now!

Such a pretty Christmas kitchen Shannon. Baking those cookies will make it that much more “Christmassy”. I did the same thing last night, but I made fudge. I’m a fudge addict!
Love your kitchen!! Everything looks wonderful.
