Cleaning And Organizing Challenge with Free Printable Checklist
Hello my Foxy friends! Who’s ready to dig in and clean house? Okay, so that prospect might not excite you, but it’ll be so much more fun if we do it together! The holidays are over, and the weather in most parts is perfect for staying-in. Making it the perfect time for cleaning and organizing! I’ve even made a free printable checklist to help you plan ahead and you can check off your completed projects as you go! I’m teaming up with my longtime friend Jessica from Mom 4 Real and she is going to guide you through the cleaning portions, and I’m going to help you with the organizing tasks.
WEEKLY CLEANING & ORGANIZING PRINTABLE CHECKLIST
Print it, download to your phone or tablet, or use the combination that works best for you!
Please use this checklist whenever & however it works best for you!
We are kicking this off this Monday, but you can work along daily, or you can take your time and check off things as you go if you need a little more time… you can skip over things that don’t apply, you can even join in if you find this weeks or months later. Jess and I are here to support you, and she and I will have our posts up for you on our blogs, according to this schedule, whenever you are ready to view them. We hope that having cleaning and organizing allies will help to motivate you, and to help you if you’ve got trouble spots or things you struggle with.
Jess are I both live in smaller, humble homes. So if you are looking for things like grand closet makeovers with walk-in closets and several thousands dollar organizing systems… thiiiis might not be the place for you. If you want practical, everyday ideas like natural cleaning solutions, helpful tips, and affordable organizing ideas that take more work than money… you are in the right place! I’ll be sharing a variety of organizers from places like Amazon, Walmart and The Dollar Tree. We are all going to have different space constraints, and different things we need to store and organize, but the general theme should translate in most cases. I’ll try to share a lot of options for you in each post as well!
If you work well with extra motivation, you’re invited to join the private Cleaning & Organizing Facebook Group. It’s 69,000 members strong! You can ask questions, and there will be threads where you can share pictures of your progress & completed spaces, and Jess & I will be popping in & out to help you with whatever you need!
If you’ve followed me for any amount of time, you know I love to purge, clean and organize. Actually, what I love most, is the end result when everything is all sparkly and organized, so I do the purging and cleaning part to get to that! And it is always so, sooo worth it!!
Most of us are constantly bringing things into our homes. Whether it’s as simple as mail, groceries and necessities, or, you like to occasionally buy-out Target. Our homes are constantly shifting. And so are our storage needs. I’m a big fan of editing. Even those spaces we’ve already tackled can use a spruce up to make sure they are still functioning well for ourselves and our families. And I don’t know about you, but my tastes change over the years, and that trickles all the way down to how I organize my belongings. Especially if they are very visible organizing solutions, like in my laundry room and my open pantry.
For this challenge, I’m going to be working on a blend of first time projects, as well as a few that need editing. We are so excited to partner up with you all and do this together. And I am so ready to cheer you on as we go!!!!
What have you got to lose, besides maybe a little extra junk laying around the house? 😉
Hope to see you in the group, and on the blogs as we share our projects with you! xo Shannon

I feel really stupid but I can’t figure out how to post a question. I have a cleaning/prevent mold question and can’t find anyone to answer my question. It seems like this would be a great resource site but not if I can’t ask a question. I have been following for a while but have never tried to post before. Can you help me?
Hi Charlotte, you are commenting to me, Shannon at Fox Hollow Cottage 🙂
Can you tell me what or where you are trying to clean and prevent mold?
We will try our best to get you an answer!
Shannon 🙂
I started without you, by accident of course. Washer died last week, which snowballed into all sorts of laundry room “things” happening, like a project I sat down to post about but ended up reading your blog instead. Insert that laughing emoji right here, and if I keep up the momentum that doesn’t end this weekend I’ll follow along!
Hey doll! Um, yeah… I’ve never gotten sidetracked in front of my computer. hehe
Sorry about the appliance death, never seems to be a good time to have to replace those big ticket items!
xo Shan
I’m so excited to be doing this challenge with you! I can’t wait to use all or your organizing ideas! xoxo, Jess
And I’m going to give my fridge a once-over today after seeing yours! 😉
