Hi friends! I want to thank you so much for all your lovely comments on my new farm table. Sometimes you are in the right place at the right time, and this one just about jumped out and bit me. My wheels spun so quickly when I saw it, thinking that the present table would really be a perfect solution down at The Little Cottage and the new one could take it’s place. I’ll show you how it looks down there in a few months when I’ve got everything in place. Today, I wanted to share some other gorgeous farm tables I’ve gathered up for you! These are ideas for building your own farm table from scratch, to painting and refinishing one you’ve got or thrifted to give it that farm house feel we all seem to be crazy about. Especially when it comes to tables. The farm table holds a sweet spot in our hearts.

Now, if you are really, extra lucky… you get to travel to France and buy a real live antique farm table, like Kim from Savvy Southern Style did. It’s so pretty, I can see why she feel for it. I still recall her anticipation waiting for it to arrive to her home. I bet this one could really tell some stories! I had to add it because the vintage style is so pretty.

I bought a table to fit all the kids and grandkids around; now I want a farmtable:( I am so fickle,I am going to save this for my handyman aka husband to get motivated:) Thanks for posting!
Oh I think we all are sometimes. I know I have changed my mind a time (or 6) where my kitchen table is concerned…. 😉
All of these tables are so lovely. I went to a Savers store (resale) and got a round pedestal table that opens to 70 inches for wait – $5. It was a Monday with 1/2 off. It was wood and I chalk painted it white.
The chairs I got at Habitat for Humanity that have curved backs for $10 each. I painted them a beautiful blue. I am so pleased. I have wanted a round table forever.
Don’t you just love a bargain!!!!
That is the best!! What an amazing deal. And extra awesome when it’s just what you’ve been looking for.
