So… I’m just curious?
Do you buy craft supplies that catch your eye
and get inspiration later?
or
Do you shop with a plan and a purpose?
I am most definitely a “winger”!!
I went to JOANN‘s today,
wandered around
and bought some fabric.
What for?
I have no idea.
Maybe for some…
Pillows?
Curtains?
Making fabric flowers?
I just thought it was pretty and brought it home.
Where I will look at it.
And hope it whispers to me.
I have a hard time planning crafts.
Never really seems to work out for me!
For instance…
I was undecided if I should make
a Summer Wreath
or
a Patriotic Wreath?
So, I asked on facebook.
I got a resounding SUMMER.
What did I make when I sat down?
If you *guessed…
“a Patriotic Wreath.”
Good for you!
*Sorry, no prize today.
Now, it wasn’t on purpose!
{even though… yes, I am a stinker}
I tried for Summer, but it just wasn’t falling into place.
What are ya gonna do?
I just don’t follow direction well!
Thank the lord I am out of school…
PS- The tutorial for the wreath is coming.

I’m a wanderer for sure! Hence the necessity for a craft room. I have so much stuff, the worst part is forgetting I already have something and get home from the store and bam i have 10 haha … sometimes this gives me a great excuse to share with my friends and family though so it’s a win win situation!

I have a door begging for a summer wreath. Come here and break the following directions rule too.
~Bliss~
I spent many hours in the disciplinarians office back in the day for my aversion to following directions!
We could have been disobedient BFF’s!
I am a planner – otherwise, I would get started, realize I didn’t have a crucial item, get frustrated, throw the craft out the window and have to start all over again.

I don’t know if this will make sense but I plan it but then I wing it because I plan a ton at once.

i am a winger. i find it much more fun to see what i have and then make something from it!
I always find stuff at the craft store or dollar spot at Target etc and if I love it I buy it and figure out what to do with it later. I do plan some things but I find that if I see something I absolutely LOVE it will inspire me. Love the fabric, can’t wait to see what you make with it. Come by and check me out at http://www.yankeedoodledesigns.com, todays post is just like yours, something I found at the dollar spot!
I am most difinitely a winger. Which potentially makes me a hoarder. Hmmmm. Cheers SpecialK XoXo
I usually start out with a plan, but somewhere along the way, I end up winging it!
I am usually a winger too Shannon. Funny, I do not follow directions well at all either!
I wing it almost every. single. time. I find that if I plan a craft, it doesn’t feel fun anymore. Kind of like if someone tells me that I have to do something, then I am so not doing it…like you with the wreath. The minute you thought, well now I need to make a summer wreath, you couldn’t do it.

I “accumulate” many things at yard sales and thrift stores….stuff I just “know” I’ll use, but I renovate another house every 2-3 yrs, so I’m usually just working on whatever project I need to do next to finish a space.

If I walk into a craft store I have planned it, if I wing it I have started it at home and don’t know what the heck I”m doing. 🙂
Hope you are having a fabulous week.

This made me smile! I am a winger! I find things that are really pretty or have potential, bring it home and then decide. Sometimes my wheels start turning at the store, but like you, I will change my mind when I actually sit down to do it. LOVE the fabric 🙂
Wing it…for sure. I can’t do series or themes cause I don’t stay with it. I have crafting add.
Cute wreath! My answer to the question is – BOTH! 🙂 I usually go into Michaels or JoAnn’s with a project in mind and come home with a whole SLEW of projects in hand! 🙂 Love those pretty prints! Have fun crafting chica!:)
