Hi Fox Hollow friends! It’s me Claire and I blog over at A Little Claireification.
I am excited to be here today sharing a super easy Mod Podge Flower Frame!
I love easy and budget-friendly ideas and this one certainly is just that {and
a sweet Mother’s Day gift idea too}!
I started with a basic frame that I got at JoAnn for $2.00 with a coupon. You could use any frame you already have, too. I had some festive flower and circle cut-outs that I was dying to use so I arranged them around the frame and used a smidge of glue just to tack them into place.
You can use whatever fun scrapbook paper {or old greeting cards!} you might have and cut out flowers or other shapes or even use a decorative punch if you have one.
Once I had all of the flowers arranged, I brushed a thin coat of Mod Podge over all of the flowers to seal them onto the frame. I wanted the natural wood but you could paint your frame whichever color you like – especially if you have some of those awesome “Maison Blanche” colors from Shannon’s shop! 😉
You can cover as much or as little of your frame with flowers as you would like.
That only took about 20 minutes to dry so I repeated that step giving the flowers three good coats total. I added a button embellishment on the top corner using hot glue – you can see where the hot glue came through the button holes and dried. Unplanned cuteness. 🙂
It turned out so cute!
I hope you enjoy this little project and that you’ll pop over some time and say hello! You can find out more about me HERE. 🙂
Thanks so much for having me over today, Shannon!
xoxo,
Claire
