Paint Makeover Decorating Ideas With Navy
Today I’m sharing some beautifully painted projects and they all have one thing in common, the color NAVY!
Navy is surprisingly versatile! I often think of it as a less severe black.
It can be both feminine and masculine, which makes it a true classic.
If you are new here, you might not know that I am a Maison Blanche Paint Company retailer so I want to share that right up front. I’ve been with the company since the very beginning and I could not be prouder of the quality of our paint or the innovative products Annie continues to add to the line.
Yes. I might be a teeny bit biased. If you have ever used it, you’ll know why. Our velvety signature finish spoils you instantly.
And if you’ve had the opportunity to use our Antiquing Wax… well, I just bet you are hooked!
Back to these painted pretties though…
I love how all five projects have their very own personality.
Between embellishments, hardware… making a rug out of a drop cloth and a radio into a bar, you can see that possibilities are endless. I love how paint opens the door and allows us to makeover one thing, into something that looks and feels completely new.
Navy is one of the most recent additions to the Maison Blanche Vintage Furniture Paint line.
The are currently 42 luscious shades available.
I’m honored to be showcasing these wonderful projects and the talented artists behind each creation with you here at Fox Hollow Cottage today!
Before, afters and many more photographs (as well as tutorials) of each project are available in full on the creators blog.

I hope you found something you liked on your visit today.. and maybe gained a new appreciation for Navy.
It really is a true blue decorating friend.

We’re thinking of making over our bedroom side tables in navy, and I think you have just convinced me that it is definitely the right color choice!

Looks amazing Shannon! I adore this color and may just paint my house white so I can use it too. So crisp and always a classic! Hugs! xo

I have been thrilled with the new paint color since we did it! The gold cast in our previous neutral was terrible! It’s much more conducive to my “like to change things on a whim” way off decorating. lol

Genius way to showcase a new color! I have never decorated with navy, which now strikes me as interesting since. I do use a lot of black but I like your comment that you think of it as a less severe black. I’m going to keep this in mind . . . the possibilities . . .

I love Navy. It’s great with white, coral, soft pink… hot pink. It really is more versatile than you think! It’s great with gold too. Gosh I love color. I need another house to decorate… 😉

Well I do not work for Maison Blanche paint company and I LOVE their paint. It is fast becoming my favorite no prep paint. For me it’s all in how the colors look when they are completely done, and as far as that navy paint goes it’s the truest navy I’ve seen. I’ve also tried every major player in the white/ivory spectrum, and my go to white is Maison Blanche Ivory. Not yellowy, it’s perfect.

Ivory is my new favorite as well. It’s so creamy and pretty. The perfect soft white. I’ve been using it too 🙂
