Simple Spring Aqua Lemon Easter Table
Hi friends!! It seems like we were all just talking about taking our Christmas things down, and ushering in a new year. Then, it was time to sprinkle some hearts around for Valentine’s day… and whoosh, it’s Spring and here I am sharing my simple Spring aqua & lemon Easter table!!
Last year about this time I was longing for a set of Pottery Barn bunny plates, but I resisted in hopes they would still have some after the holiday, and I could get them on clearance.
Well.
It happened.
And I’ve waited almost a year to get to use them!!
I decided to set a very, very simple Spring table and I paired them with these super-sweet aqua & lemon placemats my sister picked up for me from HomeGoods. She made the mistake of sending me a photo of them in a text message while shopping, and I fell in love with them and asked her to pick me up a set too! Little did I know, they only had four. She bought them and mailed them to me, instead of keeping them for herself. Wasn’t that the nicest thing? (Thank you Nicky!!)
The new aqua door is so fun, and a great match for the table coincidentally. I’m even getting used to the particular shade of aqua, it changes throughout the day. Oddly enough, the color on super-sunny days is my least favorite. Go figure?
Each plate has a different bunny, I’ll get a little closer for you…
The windows I grabbed from the workshop are just what I was looking for in the open cabinets! I’m so glad. I really didn’t want to put the shelving back in. I like it lighter, with less stuff. The windows offer interest, without being too busy or fussy.
I’m so glad I rummaged around, cleaned them up and tried them here.
If you follow me on Facebook, you may have seen the little Rabbit goodies when I shared my HomeGoods finds with you back in February. It might seem odd to share what I bought shopping, but it’s a four hour round trip drive, so I always really appreciate and look forward to my shopping time there. And I may get a bit excited… (I totally do!)
I got the April Cornell table runner & napkins there too. I look forward to using them through Summertime!
Austin will be home for Easter and we are planning a small, quiet gathering and observation of the holiday.
This table will be just right for us! Unless I go with option two.
Because I may have turned right around, and tried another look. (I did) hahaha.
I’ll show you that one tomorrow!

A most beautiful table Shannon! How so very sweet of your sister to send them to you, even though she may have wanted them for herself! Love the windows on the shelves too1 So glad you were able to get those adorable bunny plates….sometimes I find at PB that if I absolutely love something seasonal I get it as often as I wait they are gone. Have a great weekend!

I know it’s so simple, compared to the creations you come up with! lol. But it works for us. Your tables are art!!
Pottery Barn isn’t somewhere I frequent, but I had seen them online and feel for them. I’m so grateful to have a set, they do make me smile.
Wishing you a blessed and happy Easter Shirley!!

Shannon,
I adore the April Cornell linens! The colors are so bright and cheery and two of my faves – coral and aqua. The bunny on the table w/the lemon placemats is super nice. I’d like to get my hands on him! You’ve done a great job in coordinating your table. I really appreciate you giving the sources of all your purchases. I want those bunny plates!!!

Hi Barb, I’ve got a handful of her linens. I bought my first about 15’ish years ago. They are always such happy prints! Thank you so much, and Happy Spring 🙂
