Six Super Summer Wreaths
If you joined myself and the great group of bloggers who hosted the
Fun In The Sun Blog Hop and Kindle Fire HD giveaway.
Thank You!!
Hard to throw a party without guests ya know {winks}
I shared my Aloha Wreath with you for the Fun In The Sun event so I thought it fitting that I pick a few of my favorite wreaths from the party to show-off here on the blog today! I haven’t shown anyone off in a bit. I miss it!!
Get Ready For…
Upper Right: I dig that Christy got her wreath form for 75 cents (my kinda girl!) then proceeded to create this fresh and pretty Summer floral wreath for under ten bucks. This would sell for oodles more in a boutique! You can find out how to make your own, from wreath to bow at Christy’s blog.
Lower Left: You know I love burlap and so this fat & fluffy burlap wreath from Stephanie at Barksdale Blessings definitely caught my eye. The bow and flowers are a great added touch that make it extra special.
Lower Right: Krista from The Happy Housie shared a darling burlap wreath complete with pinwheels and flowers! Safe to say I thought it was totally stinking cute. Love that she shares how to make everything you see, from the wreath to it’s decorations on her blog. Making a Pinwheel is on my crafting bucket list!
Next up is Hannah with her Super Duper Cute and Simple (both winners in my book!)
10 minute diy Patriotic Wreath.
Next we are going coastal with a fun, beachy-vibe from two great crafts!!
Upper Left: Ellen at Creative Passage shared her fantastic shell encrusted drift wood wreath and shows you how to make one too!
Lower Right: Claire at A Little Claireification made a starfish garland and since my wreath had a starfish on it, I cheated and shared this too. Had too, I just love it!! Claire also has a tutorial on making your own.
I need to head down to Charleston Harbor and grab me a few more starfish!
I distinctly remember a shop down there being loaded with shells!
And lastly… what I’m sure y’all scrolled down looking for!!!! CONGRATULATIONS to the winner of the Kindle Fire HD LAUREN KIM
Hope you love it and have tons of time to kick back and read this Summer!!!!
I’ll be back later this week to show you how to make your own Aloha Wreath!
So stop back in if you’d like the “how-to” on that one.
It’s super easy, promise! You’ll see.
but for now…
Alo-Ha!

So this is rather surreal … I was googling beach wreath decorating ideas and stumbled upon this page, only to see a picture of, um, me. That red sailboat is our family’s boat, pulling into the harbor in Port Washington, Wisconsin, following either a race or a practice. Do you mind if I ask where you found that photo?
Shannon at Fox Hollow Cottage says
Hi Erin! Oh WOW!!! I got that from a GOOGLE image search. I’m sure I looked for “sailboats”. But it’s been a bit, so I’m not 100%. Do you mind me having it in the collage? I thought it had such a beautiful feel. Shannon
Erin says
Oh absolutely no problem here… I was just totally surprised to see it!

Oh Shanny girl, I was about to send out a search party. I suddenly realized I’d lost you. I don’t think I realized you moved. Got you now. I won’t lose you again.
Shannon at Fox Hollow Cottage says
Hey-Hey sweet G!!!! Glad to see you dollface. I’ve been in painting purgatory trying to cover some dark wood trim. Just checking in and on my way to hope over and see you – Shan

Thanks so much for featuring my easy- on-the-budget summer wreath, Shannon! I actually spent even less because I didn’t realize that there were two stems I didn’t use! Woohoo! I think your aloha wreath is just as fun and cute as can be! Might have to keep that one in mind for next summer! 🙂
XO,
Christy
