The Tale of a Tabletop Christmas Tree
Yes, I know.
But I’m tired!
… and I get silly when I am tired.
Just wanted to share a peek at our
mini Christmas tree with you.
(AKA; a “tabletop” Christmas tree)
No room for the big~fatty this year but that’s okay.

We like it.
It has lots of shimmery, glistening snow and sparkling, white lights.
I left it bare.
I really enjoy this one au’ natural.
Little Miss Frenchy La~La
Not sure if you have seen this one?
She’s got cute legs too and received a little aqua paint as refresher this Summer.
I never got around to blogging about it…
I never got around to blogging about it…
So, Ta~Da
There she is!
(he he)
Anyhow…
This Qt is our main tree this year.
I wrapped the base in some burlap
(stuffed with a few plastic grocery sacks for volume and fullness)
and secured it with a strip I cut off the end before wrapping it up.
I got the smaller tree at
Good Will GOODWILL… lol!
(that’s for anyone that checks out my facebook page…)
and added a strand of lights for some
extra shine on the tabletop.
extra shine on the tabletop.
You can never have too much shine.
Unless it’s your nose, I suppose?
I did get around to doing something with one of the four clear, glass ornaments I picked up for a dollar. I added some mica snow and a bit of silver tinsel garland. I liked it so I stopped there. It’s resting in a heavy, cut crystal
ash tray filled with faux snow.
I know. Yuck. An ashtray?
(It’s of course been scrubbed)
In my defense… when I bought it, I didn’t know what it was!
It’s pretty though and I have had it for many years now.
The plate I used as a base was a new find I picked up over the Summer.
I added a pinch of faux snow,
some Dollar Tree bottle brush trees and a single vintage ornament.

Topped it with a cloche… and Done!
Liked it.
Didn’t mess with it.
Wow. I was on a roll.
Mark off one more project as complete!
Yay.
MERRY CHRISTMAS To YOU.

I love it. I have fallen in love with the idea of a tree in the bedroom. I will certainly do that next year. Some thing whimsical and dreamy perhaps white. What do you think? What a beautiful place you have here. I will follow on my way out so I know my path back to your door. I am sure I will spend a lot of time looking around. I hope you will find the time to come by my place for a visit and follow if you will. Take care. Cheers SpecialK XoXo
