I hope you all had a nice weekend! Here at the hollow, we had a 50/50 weekend with a mix of rain and sunshine. We made up for that rainy day by tackling some of our last big outside jobs to get the yard ready for Summer on the sunny one! It’s been so nice to get a good jump on things. We’ve already power-washed almost everything, and pulled up and replanted the two beds in front of the decks! The boys were very busy, and I repainted our wrought iron dinning set and a few other pieces, in hopes of extending their lives for at least this coming Summer season. It’s raining again and should continue for several more days, but as soon as we get sunshine I’ll show you how everything looks! I’m so excited to have everything ready for company when we can host again. Because Jimmy is such an awesome griller, and we’ve got a nice big open space, the Summer months are kind of our jam. I’ve worked hard to stay upbeat and positive throughout all this, but I’m missing my family, and one little cutie in particular! Looking forward to being together soon…
