Hello Friends! It’s the last post of June, as we slide into July on Wednesday. Another month of 2020 gone, whoosh! We are planning a quiet fourth of July this weekend. Much different than past celebration. All the fireworks shows are cancelled in my home town, are they still holding any shows where you are?

I spent my Monday hand lettering a sigh for a special spot, and I’m 90% happy with my results. I’m considering a little fix, and can’t decide if 90% is good enough? It’s supposed to rain, and I’m thinking if it does, I might go for a 100% satisfaction. lol. We shall see. I’m trying not to be soooo exacting about a lot of things, while still pushing to do my best. It’s a hard balance. I don’t think I’ll ever get it right. But I can keep trying! Wishing you a wonderful week! Much love to you all, Shannon

I am so struck with your picture of the fox wearing the top hat and his monocle. Is it a print and do you know if it is available to purchase ? This is my first time to post and I just want you to know how much I enjoy Fox Hollow Cottage and your style. I also live in the beautiful North West Sequim Washington. Have a beautiful day! Blessings—— Barbara

Shannon — I really love your great Red, White & Blue decor. Is there a story about that wonderful old flag you hung near your chandelier? I was also happy to see part of your chandelier … is it an old family treasure? Thanks for all your inspiring posts! — Jan

Hi Jan! I found the flag on a junking adventure, and it’s one of my treasured pieces.
The chandelier was bought in a little boutique shopping with my mom, and came from CA up to OR on a raod trip to get it home.
I do have a vintage one over in the bedroom at The Little Cottage though 😉
Best, Shannon
