Style Showcase 62 | DIY, Home + Winter Decorating Ideas

Welcome to Style Showcase 62, and our last post for the year 2020! We are wrapping it up by sharing more great ideas for the home! We’ve got some great ideas for helping make next Christmas easier on yourself, some fresh paint colors, a pretty DIY beadboard project, a stunning cranberry cocktail party idea perfect for New Years, and some wonderful Winter decorating ideas too.

There is such a build-up to Christmas every year, and no matter how soon I start, the season revs up, I blink, and it’s over. But Jim and I did have some lovely days together, and we made sure to stop and savor our blessings. Austin, Jim & I had a wonderful, big, scrumptious Christmas breakfast, a long-standing Christmas morning tradition. It was very quiet, but again, we are so blessed. And we are safe, healthy and have a roof over our heads. We are greatly thankful! This sure year has been one for the books, as with most things though, there are silver linings if you only look. We certainly had some. You know I don’t comment on much of anything that can be even slightly considered controversial. My voice would only be white noise anyway, but I did want to lightly acknowledge this… crazy year. I’m sure many of us can’t wait to see it fade away. May we all have only good things awaiting us in 2021! That’s my wish for us all. xo Shan

Lovely… we’re in the NW for a week and thankful we hit a dry spell here.
Can’t wait for January 1, when we can officially say “Hindsight is 2020!”
