We still love this approach to hanging outdoor lights so much, and that you can configure them to fit basically any outdoor space using plug-in or solar powered outdoor lights. The skies the limit—I could see a set of 6-8 surrounding an outdoor firepit, bordering a deck or patio, or even lighting a pathway. Just this last weekend, we placed ours along the stone path to The Little Cottage and once the new arbor is complete, we’ll add lights to it! I can’t wait to see that path lit-up by café lights. It’s going to add so much charm to our backyard!
Thanks for joining us this week, it’s always such a pleasure to share the talents of my wonderful co-hosts of this weekly event. With my Jimmy’s help we were able to pot up more pretties for the deck on Saturday. I’ve been doing it much slower than in the past, accepting help & pacing myself, and I got the last of my flowers in posts for the season.
We went for a drive on Sunday, and found two of the most vibrant purple Clematis at a new nursery that just opened up. We both loved them, so we decided to bring them home. (I shared a quick peek of the upper sun deck, my flowers, and the new Clematis on Facebook & IG over the weekend). We are going to try the Clematis in pots on the new deck. Once we get the two arbors complete, everything will be done and I’ll take some pretty pictures so I can share all Jim’s hard work with you. We are so thankful we replaced it late last year, because with lumber prices as they are, we’d never have been able to do it this year!
Wishing you a beautiful day, xo Shan
