We’ve been having a smattering of rain in between some sun shiny days, and while it does hinder outdoor projects, the plants and flowers are loving it! Jimmy and I had dinner out this weekend and then found ourselves at the nursery afterwards. It was packed with so many new arrivals, and we were so thrilled to find a few of the Ceanothus we’d been looking for. A very happy find and we bought 4 gallons pots. We hope to plant them as soon as we decide the best spot for them. Unfortunately, the deer discovered my Viburnum (I thought I’d tucked it safely out of reach up on the new deck) and it went from being lush, full and loaded with buds… to about half it’s size overnight. So disappointing but I can’t blame them, as it is their nature. I should have known better, but I was out of room on the upper deck off the sun room. I’ll have to come up with a (much better) new plan. lol
LOVE & LIGHT!! Shannon

Love reading your blog posts! Sorry about the Viburnum, deer have good taste.
They are such stinkers! I was so looking forward to seeing it put on a show this year. Oh well…
