Okay who’s hungry now? There are few things as good as Summer fruit, and peaches are definitely a favorite of mine. Even peeled and sliced with the tiniest sprinkle of sugar. YUM. I’ve managed to cut a lot of unnecessary carbs from my diet, but I refuse to give up fresh fruit. I mean… it’s an actual real, whole food, so it’s staying! I’ve managed to lose 50 pounds over the last 11 months, and I’d like to lose another 50, to be at a good healthy weight. I think this next 50 is going to be a lot harder to shed. I’m determined to keep the 50 I’m down OFF for good, and to keep working on the rest.

    The “firecrackers” on your 4th of July table are so fun and clever 🙂 Do you have a source for the white slatted lanterns? I’ve seen some shutter lanterns here and there, but I love the taper on those. Looking forward to perusing more of your posts!

      I’ve had them a good handful of years now. I was drawn to the rope handle.
