The Little Cottage Living Room Plans
I’m so excited to announce that myself and nine color loving friends are involved in a super fun makeover event, called Color Lovers!
I’ve chosen to concentrate on the living room over at The Little Cottage. If you follow me on social media, you know I’ve already begun working on the bones of the room. It’s already improving but it’s a blank slate for sure!
It needs lots of attention. To stop it being so brab I obviously need to add a nice color on the walls and them maybe a print from Canvas Prints that will add a bit of personality to the room.
So I’m especially thrilled & thankful to be working with some amazing sponsors on this project, because this space needs all the help it can get! And lucky me, our sponsors are some of my most favorite places to shop.
The Mine
Formerly ATG Stores. The selection on this site is vast. I literally shopped for days before I made my final selection. So much good stuff, and the variety of styles was amazing!! I selected a gorgeous glass front cabinet and a really unique coffee table. Both are still in the boxes to be protected while I paint, do woodworking, and etc…
Birch Lane
I know you all know this one! It’s where I got my Moby book ends, the wicker Whale basket and so much more. I love the classic style, and affordable offerings I find here. In fact, I accidentally bought a tufted bench that was on a killer sale while I was selecting my other item, pitfall of the job I guess. hahaha – As for my allotted purchase, this time I went BIG! I got the most important thing every living room needs. It’s still wrapped up too, and I’ll be as excited to see it as you!!
Minted
Minted is a wonderful site that offers stationary, art, home and wedding items. I went for art for the space and can’t wait to share exactly what I ordered!! Think “summer fun”. I can’t wait to deck my walls!!
Now, you know I like neutrals as base as much as the next decorator. But I love color too! I’ve never shied away from infusing my spaces with life and energy. And I’m going even bolder here at The Little Cottage, and really having some FUN! I hope seeing color in all the spaces we’ll be sharing will inspire you to embrace it as well, and step away from the beige side of life a little.
Here is a peek at some of what you might be seeing soon from me…
I don’t want to spoil the surprises too much. But let’s just say, I love me some color & texture!
Mark your calendars for June 27 to see all the Color Lovers spaces completely made over, including mine!

Isn’t it fun, just the before and after? Love the casual feel and it’s easy to keep up with – Taryn did a great job putting it together.
Hey Color Lover- I “hope” we see those things in your livingroom. It will be gorgeous.
