Vintage 101 Booth Bound No.1

Though I don’t yet have the little cottage available to prettily stage and photograph some of the things heading down to Vintage 101, I took a few minutes to pop them up on the bar in the sun room after getting them all spiffed up.

This is just a small portion of what I’ve been ~~hoardi~~ “collecting” to take down to Vintage 101. All the furnishings and etc’s are unloaded and stored in the little cottage. I then haul what needs spiffing up to the house so I can administer a little TLC.

Some need to be polished, some tenderly washed.

I’m happy to peel back the layers and let them shine again!!

Having somewhere to share all the beautiful and interesting things I come across feeds the collector and shopaholic in me!

I get the opportunity to hunt & peck & rescue. It’s perfect!!

And occasionally… add a little something to my own collection. {wink wink}

I’ll be calling this Atlas mason mine, for now.

About my last post, The Bathroom…

I’m a little-tiny-bit behind in sharing the bathroom details of the before & after I promised because I was locked out of my blog over the entire weekend and it threw my schedule out of whack. I’ll try to get that done real soon!! Thank you for the lovely, lovely comments & wonderful feedback on that.

For many years I collected anything with a barn theme. I had that little green plate with the barn in the background. I was told there were a set and each represented a season. That was the only one I ever had. I got rid of almost all the barn stuff when I moved and had to downsize. Love Mason/Ball jars. Love your hunts.

  We downsized as well! When we bought this house we had about half the space, and no garage. We have had tag sale after tag sale and my mom and I have taken so much to Hospice thrift for donation. I hear ya 😉 I adore the aqua Ball jars best, the vintage ones have the best colors! Best, Shannon

I’m thinking of starting of blog so I have a place to display my treasures so the world can see my stash. I downsized and got rid of so many!!!
