Hello and Happy Weekend
from Fox Hollow
Jim and I have been busy bees.
We decided to do a little DIY today.
It’s an idea we had been tossing around
and finally decided to just go for!
He tackled that project.
I tackled another.
Both are complete.
In addition, he whipped up some
super yummy BBQ chicken
and the rest of dinner while I showered.
(my project took a little longer)
I tell ya… >lucky girl< over here!!
Also, the fireplace is done.
At least… Jim’s part is.
I however, need to do some touch up painting
and add one more layer of paint on the trim.
Then I can reveal it!
We just got a little sidetracked but I
promise I will share it really soon.
I can share this though…
some pretty wildflowers
in a thrifted pewter pitcher
with a sparkly garage sale door knob
thrown in for good measure.
(I’m a sucker for knobs!)
This moth liked sure liked them.
It was right at home.
Hope you are having a wonderful weekend.

Beautiful wildflowers. Cannot wait to see what you did!
Can’t wait to see the fireplace – you’ve been teasing us for months!
And Jim may just have to be nominated for hubs of the year – he does DIY projects and cooks!
