How To Make an Autumn Apple Wreath for Fall
Hello there! 😀
I’m Shayna from The Wood Grain Cottage and I’m back to share my latest Fall craft project, an Autumn inspired Apple Wreath!
Fall decorating is in full swing around my home, and I find that I like to add in those natural elements to my decorating. Apples are one of my very favorites, so I decided to make my own apple wreath.
It’s one of those easy projects that’s so rewarding when it’s finished.
Here’s what you’ll need:
- foam wreath
- burlap
- scissors
- hot glue sticks
- glue gun
- fake apples
- Spanish Moss, or other filler product
First, I covered the wreath form with the burlap strips, securing everything in place with hot glue…
Then, I grabbed my apples of various sizes and started hot gluing them onto the form….
Slowly, but surely…
I was left with a wreath…
To hide all those little tiny holes between the apples, I picked up some natural filler from the craft store and stuffed it between the apples…
It looked much better with the filler to hide the holes…
And with that, it was ready to hang!
I love how it looks with my new chalkboard frame… and our dining room shelves…
I also love the vibrant pop of red it brings to the room…
It’s perfectly fall, and I’m looking forward to keeping it out and moving it around…
And speaking of Fall, here are a few more of my favorite projects…
And, our Fall Front Porch and Fall Home Tour from last year…
Until next time… You can find me on Pinterest, Facebook, Instagram and Twitter!
And be sure to stop by The Wood Grain Cottage to say hi! Have a wonderful day!

Hi Sue! Thank you so much for your comment. It means a lot when not only do you find things you enjoy, but that you took the time to tell me :))) The Apple Wreath is from Shayna at The Wood Grain Cottage. She has a gorgeous Farmhouse style and is very talented.

Where did you find the different sized apples. I can only find big ones.

Hi there! I found the small apples at Hobby Lobby, and the rest were found at Michaels and my local craft store.
Hope that helps! 🙂

I had to scroll down to see that the apples were faux.

Perfect! I was trying to dcdiee on a dessert for tomorrow’s company and this will fit the bill nicely. I just bought a package of fresh Cape Cod cranberries today, so now to the farmstand in the morning and I am all set. Thanks for the idea!
