Gracie Blue Farmhouse Home Tour
Have I got a treat for you today. We get to tour the home of Lisa, who blogs at Gracie Blue. I really think y’all are going to love it. In addition to sharing her home, I wanted to let you know you can read all about her and her family right here, but I’ll spill one of my favorite things she reveals, and that is that she feels she should have been born in the South! You know after my visits there, I feel the same way. It steals your heart for certain.
I met Lisa on Instagram and after following her, enjoying her posts and talking, I felt you’d enjoy her style and decorating projects and invited her to be featured here. She’s a real sweetheart, and she is also co-hosting on Instagram with me tomorrow for #foxhollowfridayfavs. It’s a fun Friday feature I do to help support the decorating community on Instagram. Enough about all that though…
Let’s start in everyone’s favorite room… the kitchen!
The star of the show, is obviously her “island” – don’t you love using a furniture piece in an unusual way?
So many warm & cozy farmhouse elements like the mix of shiplap with the brick back splash, the open shelves and the amazing chalkboard!
And guess what?
She made the chalkboard. Yep. Made it!
You can see how she did it [click here]
Her artwork is so cute too!
Now, Lisa actually uses her kitchen for baking guys!

There is a beautiful gallery wall in the family room.
And don’t you love the vaulted beamed ceiling? I sure do!
Another peek at that gorgeous vintage chandelier doesn’t hurt either!
And look, another person who has a giant chalkboard… in the raw.
I love the depth that a chalkboard adds, especially layered as this one is, with the gilded frames. Chalk art or not, I’m a sucker for them.
And she styles and decorates with this one beautifully!
Lisa is a busy mother of two, and in addition to the blog, you can find more inspiring snapshots of her home on Instagram. I hope you enjoyed the peek inside her home today. I was tickled to share it with you.
