Style Showcase 12 | Winter Decorating, Home Tours and Project Ideas
We’ve got a dozen Style Showcase posts we’ve shared with you already! I’m so happy to be working with this talented team! Are you enjoying this first part of 2020 so far? It has started off wonderfully for us, and I’d be happy as a clam if it continued this way. We had a quiet New Year’s Eve week. Jim was off work (and I always love that!) we puttered and did some projects, and I had a quiet birthday. I actually asked for a rain-check, and decided to just celebrate it later. It is so on the heels of everything else, that I’d much rather do something later in the year. Like when the sunshine is out. I’ve threatened for years to make it June 2nd instead of January 2nd… and this is the year it’s happening! I’m sure some of you with Christmastime birthdays can relate.
Now, lets get into today’s Style Showcase! We’ve got so many great projects & ideas again for you this week. Today’s post is FULL of Winter home decorating and blah-fighting ideas, a stunning home tour, some organizing and a fabulous DIY plant project … enjoy!
Town & Country Living | Winter Mantel
Worthing Court | Recipe To Combat The Winter Blahs In Your Home
Shabbyfufu | Modern European Farmhouse Home Tour
Fox Hollow Cottage | Open Pantry Makeover & Organizing Ideas
Sand & Sisal | DIY Kokedama – Japanese Moss Ball Planters
What did you think? Did you have a favorite from today’s Style Showcase? I’d love to hear what you all love.
And just to keep it real… today as I type this for you, I’ve got a dehumidifier stuffed in my closet! While getting ready to start a new project, we discovered a very slow leak due to the combination of both a clogged downspout and some torrential rains. Thankfully it wasn’t bad at all, but enough to notice and be taken care of. Just one of the pitfalls of living in a home with a basement level. When you’ve got a basement, water is like your worst enemy! I’m sure some of you can relate. 2020 is still looking amazing though. Just a wee hiccup that Jimmy was able to fix. Another reason he is my hero.
Have a beautiful week my friends, xo Shan
