Because my MIL had the same brand and I’m 99.9%
sure it’s the same model, I am confident it will last me long enough to get my $40 worth out of it.
If it works for only a year, that is $3.33 a month.
I can live with that.
PROS:
1. Cheap.
2. Simple assembly.
3. Good suction!
4. Bagless
5. Light, easy to maneuver.
6. Convenient to use wand.
7. Washable filters.
CONS:
1. Short cord. Industry standard.
(I have found the more expensive the vacuum, the longer the cord. Which is a real tricky way to get you to spend more money on a vacuum. I put an extension cord on mine. HA! I’ll show you.)
2. No light. Not really an issue, I don’t vacuum in the dark.
3. Very basic on board tools.
Includes a wand with extension and a brush.
The above cons, are not really cons for me, but they might be for you.
Overall.
I would buy this machine again in a heartbeat.
I give it two thumbs up 🙂
I did notice last night that it’s a
“Remanufactured” model.
Which is fine.
I bought one once before for $38 and it lasted for about 2-3 years so this was not a problem for me. It looks brand new.
If it did not say so on the box, I never would have known.
Hope if you’re shopping for a new vacuum my review might be helpful for you. I enjoyed sharing my thoughts.

PS-I still {heart} my Dyson.
Note: I did a little research and apparently this model is exclusive to Walmart.
It’s $47.84
Appearance in full on any site other then Fox Hollow Cottage is theft!
Recently I bought a vacuum cleaner and an air conditioner for our house. The good thing about it is that I bought the two items on sale.

I hate vacuums and I always feel like I end up paying too much for one I don’t end up loving for too long. 🙁 grumble. I’m actually on the lookout for a new one soon so I’m going to keep my eyes peeled for this one and see what I think. Thanks for the low-down!
I purchased one of those a while back for our school house. I was getting tired of taking the vacuum from our home to school every time I needed to vacuum the floors. Absolutely love it!! I think I paid like $48.00 for ours, great bargain for such a good little vacuum.
I had that very same vacuum for several years, but I recently “upgraded” to a more expensive model with extra features this one did not have.
Frankly… I wish I had kept the Bissel. It picked up a lot more dirt and dog hair than my new vacuum does.
I have this sweeper only with bags. I actually have two of them…one for upstairs and one for down. I love them! I even got mom to get one and now she is planning on another too for her downstairs. I swear by Bissell…bought them for years now. Since first starting houskeeping, I’ve had four in 22 years. Not bad is it?! You’ll definitely get your money’s worth with this one…just make sure you keep the filters clean on a monthly basis and your suction will continue to be great!
After lugging the vacuum upstairs I need to consider a 2nd floor only vac! Thanks for the great review Shannon! I’m looking for this next time I am at BL (yeah, I go often enough I can call it BL).
Ha! I have the same exact vacuum! It is a pretty decent machine, although I’m only really vacuuming area rugs since we have hardwoods. I’m glad you love it!
Forty bucks? At that price I can get another vacuum for the 2nd floor so we don’t have to lug the one we have up and down the stairs. Love that it’s bagless and 40 bucks!
Great review….I have an Oreck…will need to consider the Bissell when it kicks the bucket!…and the price is really great!!
Ok you do know I wan tot run out and buy one now:) I just may the next time I hit your favorite place!
This is fab Shannon. I have an Oreck which I love but it was expensive…not as much as a Dyson though. The most important feature to me is the weight. I have seriously put my back out running a heavy vacuum cleaner. (pathetic I know.) I will definitely keep this in mind. Thanks!
MY vacuum is 20+ years old and kinda works, this sounds like a great deal, I just may look for one.
I love vacuums….I really do. Anything I can clean with that works gets me in a tizzy…I am so glad you did this review. I would like a vacuum for my sunroom only and there is a Big Lots close to me so I may stop there and take a look.
p.s. I don’t have a Dyson….my sister and niece each have one and when I go to their houses, I offer to vacuum ~ they know I’m strange and love to clean so they usually tell me to knock myself out….I feel like Gene Kelly in Singing in the Rain…. ; P
