Â
Please Welcome Kimberly!!
Today I’m sharing how to make a traditional cuffed Christmas stocking.
Don’t let the photos fool you. Â These stockings are super simple to make and the pattern is really easy to adapt. Â Â Any heavy weight fabric will work for these stockings but I chose red and white cotton twill fabric for these stockings because they’re a gift to my sister and they match the Pottery Barn Inspired Christmas Countdown Pillow that I made for her last week.

The fabrics for this project were purchased at JoAnne but I’ve also seen them at Hobby Lobby. They should be readily available at many fabric and craft stores.
Materials (for two stockings):
NOTE: Ignore the large piece of red wool felt in the photo above….I thought that I was going to use it for part of the cuff but decided not to. See what I mean?! This pattern is flexible!
Directions:
Slide the cuff up to the top of the stocking and match the raw edges of the cuff with the raw edges of the stocking. Â Stitch into place.
