When I was offered the chance to try the new TASSIMO™ T 55 brewer I pretty much could not say yes fast enough. Want to know why?

Because I do not know how to make coffee. Dead serious.

I don’t drink coffee.

Which might have you thinking, “Then what the heck does she want one for?”

Simple. I’ve got two reasons. One, My husband does drink coffee and I was so happy to be able to bring this into our home for him! As there are many great coffee brewers out there, finding the right one for him was a little stressful, but once I did some research and took my time, I finally made up my mind. I mean, did you know there were coffee machines specifically made for the different types of coffee, like lattes, cappuccinos, and americanos? As someone who doesn’t like coffee, I was utterly confused; I found myself looking at Naludamagazine – Tips for Choosing the Best Cappuccino Makers, which was definitely useful advice. It’s just as well I’ve been approached with one to try instead of having to source one myself!

Saying this though, he knows he drinks a lot of coffee, which is why he has decided to look into visiting a dentist, in the hopes of getting his teeth whitened. Initially, we thought this process was going to difficult, but even by searching for something along the lines of Dentist Chattanooga (depending on where you live) can get you on the right track to getting the smile you’ve always wanted. Anyway, I would love to be able to offer our house guests coffee and not have to point to the kitchen and tell them to help themselves! When my in-laws stay with us they venture out to ___ or ___ for coffee or are forced to use our sub standard, technology-hasn’t -changed-in-50-years, plain jane, coffee maker.

Now, I’ll be able to whip up tres fancy coffee for company because this brewer is Shannon proof! I am so tickled. I can’t even tell you. Not only does it make coffee (and other beverages) like a speedy ninja! It’s super smart too. I specifically looked at smart coffee makers so that I wouldn’t be able to mess anything up! This thing has a BAR CODE reader folks. It’s called INTELLIBREW™. No joke. The little T DISC pods all have a bar code. You slip one right into the slot and the brewer reads it and does the rest. That’s it. Well, you push start. But I can totally handle that.

Luckily enough for our Thanksgiving guests, I got it before the big holiday.

I got busy gathering up all my coffee and tea cups, bought a cute set of espresso cups and added a little this and a little that to put together a coffee, tea and hot chocolate beverage station.

How cool is that!? Now after dessert I’m going to play barista and serve everyone after-dinner drinks with their dessert. I can’t wait!!

I already had some cute cupcake liners that are perfect for holding the crushed candy canes and mini marshmallows. I had lots left over from hosting my niece’s bridal shower and it’s great finding something else to use them for. They’re so cute!

We held out for the weekend so Austin and I could crack open the Peppermint Hot Chocolate.

Because both he and I will drink that. With pleasure.

Jimmy tried the Latte immediately and told me it’s the best coffee he has ever tasted. I think that is high praise, since I know for a fact he has had coffee in San Francisco, Portland, Seattle and New York. Hands down. The best. Straight from Mr. Fox’s lips.

Like I said, it’s really simple. You pop the T DISC in the brewer and close it. Press start and watch the magic happen.

For the Latte, you then pop in a Latte Milk Creamer and get the fancy foam finish.

Making it may have taken all of 2 minutes. Wish we had scratch and sniff.

Mmm… coffee smell. I love it!!!!

It’s pretty cool that the T DISCS come in a well thought out package too, so if you don’t want to have little dishes and containers and such around, you don’t have to.

I did discover that this slim glass vase is the perfect size for the T DISCS and you can see how many you have on hand at a glance as well.

The machine easily adjusts for cup height, to accommodate the height for whatever your beverage requires.

#1 Position, high.

#2 Position, middle height.

#3 Position, max room and the lowest setting.

I still have a few days to get ready.

I need a cute shaker for cinnamon and maybe some of those chocolate covered coffee beans.

I’ve got the candy canes and whipped cream covered.

It was super fun getting to make my own coffee and hot coco bar!!
