Meet my new muse, Navy

September 6, 2016 by Shannon Fox

Navy Bathroom Decorating Ideas

Hello and welcome. I’m so happy to announce, that no, I’m not dead. In case you wondered. We’ve been busy wrapping up an incredibly full season of projects, workshop finishing (we are so close), junque hunting, booth flipping & filling. I’m very happy to report that I am ready to dive back into the blog. I have so many things I want to share with you, and will. Soon. Like, when they are finished.

Navy Bathroom Decorating Ideas - Blue Vanity and Wall Color Design

Today, I wanted talk to you about how I fell for my new muse, navy. You may have noticed that my signature aqua didn’t make an appearance this summer, and I hope you didn’t miss it too much. I’ve only got so much room, and I decided to go in a different direction. I crave change, and I was ready for something new.

You know me… I like e v e r y t h i n g.

And right now… I especially like navy bathrooms. Here are some of the gorgeous spaces I fell for while thinking about what I’d like to do in my own bathroom space. I hope you see something you like too!

After lots of looking, I noticed I was equally drawn to both navy as a wall color, and a vanity color.

Thanks so very much for stopping in today. I am eager to get finished up so I can show off our news space!! I’ve been texting pictures to my mom and sister as I go to help alleviate having to keep it under wraps till it’s done.

Secret keeping is not my forte.

Hi Shannon! Thank you for posting your bathroom ideas, you have a great taste! I’m feeling inspired to remodel my bathroom, I think it’s time. I’ll be stealing some ideas from this post 🙂 Thank you!

Beautiful photos! You know, when I moved to this apt (right at the time we lost Abby) they told me they would paint all the walls or just accent walls. Of course, at a price! So I had an accent wall painted navy in my bedroom. Not sure if you’ve seen it…I have a white tufted headboard and then I put gold trimmed mirrors all over the wall. I’ve really enjoyed it but kinda getting in the mood for something different! I don’t go very long without “change” ~ this is the longest at 3+ years. Come on over and help me! 🙂

I used to have a room that was painted navy years and years ago…I have always loved navy and these examples of the use of navy are stunning! Great makeover!!!!

Everything comes around doesn’t it? We are all always shifting and changing. I’ve always had a push/pull with light bright… and moody darks.
      I just love it all!

I just love that kitchen sink in No. 2 – WOW!! And the navy blue vanity in the all white bath with the aqua lights in No. 7 is my second favorite – lovely!! I can’t wait to see your refresh. 🙂
