We had a super-fun 4th of July, with a very small & safe outdoor gathering, and one heck of a fireworks show! We kept ours pretty legal, and Austin was our official master of ceremonies, announcer and firework lighter. He can very entertaining. But wow, some of the surrounding neighbors had the real-deal BIG ones just like the shows do. They sure were pretty. Earlier in the day, Jim slow grilled some ribs and chicken, a friend brought her amazing homemade potato salad, we had fresh bread, salad with all the fixins, my big fat rice krispy treats, and my fruit salad. It was pretty darn yummy. Different than many other years, but we made the best of it and had a very nice day. I hope you were able to enjoy your holiday too!! Love & light, Shan
