DIY a Rustic Style Bakers Twine
I was crafting something up today and I decided I needed a little more then just plain jute twine.
So I made my own version of bakers twine.
With more of a rustic vibe.
I think it turned out pretty cool.
So I thought I would share!
It’s super easy!
{hello. I did it}
1. All you need is some jute twine and some embroidery floss.
(tip; I find this all the time in big grab style bags at Goodwill for next to nothing!)
2. Tie them together into a knot at the end.
3. Secure on a surface with tape or set the end under something heavy.
4. Hold the jute twine firm, and wrap the embroidery floss around it. Continue wrapping until you have the desired length you would like. Embroidery is super fun and I’m always looking at new embroidery designs for upcoming projects.
5. Trim to size and tie in a knot at the end.
… and Get Crafty With It!
So simple it’s silly.
But hey, ya never know when
you might need some jazzed-up
Rustic Style Jute Twine!
I did 😉
I’ll share soon. Promise!
