Style Showcase 132 | Hydrangeas, DIY Ideas + Decorating Tips
Welcome to the best home décor, decorating & DIY ideas from a group of ladies who’ve been doing this a long time! It’s time for the Style Showcase!
I am positively holding my breath in anticipation of this coming seasons Hydrangea blooms. Mine leafed out beautifully and I am so eager to see my old friends again. My deck garden is the highlight of my summer, and now that the remaining construction debris and the old bathtub are off my deck, I can get it cleaned up, and get my flower pots placed for the season. I’ll definitely make sure to get help, as some of my pots are pretty large, and darn heavy. Best to be safe right 😉

Love look of the room. Will soft black behind stove look like a black hole in the room? Maybe use an interesting subtle tile on a board behind the stove instead of the accordion piece. It’s great to be able to change out accent pillows and accessories.
So it turns out… the electric fireplace was a dud and doesn’t work properly. Since we don’t use it, I’ll be re-thinking the set up.
It is fun to change out the little things. I love having such versatility and being able to mix things up on a whim, or as my taste changes.
HI!
In our family room we have a very nice
Air tight wood burning stove.
We have a very nice tile behind it and under
it. When the stove was installed they put a black fire wall and floor slate around it. The stove didn’t stand out. Now she is so adorable. She also has a nice screen and we are able to use her like a fireplace. The stove is set in a corner of the room. Very efficient
and a great feature.
