Shabby Vintage Cottage Bedroom
Today I’m sharing how I updated our 1929 cottage bedroom with a mini-refresh, on a teeny tiny budget. Come see how I used lots of thrifted and vintage pieces, along with some second-hand linens and a little DIY. Warming up what started as a concrete box, into a pretty little oasis.
Welcome foxy friends! It’s bedroom touring time. The stars have aligned. It’s done, we had sun, and I was able to get some pictures that didn’t look like I took them in a dungeon. Ahh… Oregon—how I love you. No, I really do. Even with the gloom we get. The pay-off is worth it for the blissful, gorgeous days.
So, anyhow. That bedroom I was talking about, well… here she is. No more chit-chat. Just going to role that beautiful bedroom footage. (did you just hear a Bush’s Beans commercial in your head?) You’re welcome {winks}
I’m pleased as punch with the way it came together. It feels, soft, pretty and romantic.
I just about sigh when I walk in there now. I love change!!
Speaking of… I’m putting a little something together to share with you next week. It’ll have all the details of the room, like where I got everything and how much I paid. Just thought you might like to see the photos with out a long winded run-down. This was a super affordable refresher and I know you could change your space up to if you’re in the mood. Y’all know how cheap I am!

(You’ve Got Mail) Can’t tell you how much I love it! And yes, you did good with the no talking … although I have to say it was a bit of an odd experience. 🙂 Great job, foxy lady!
Well sometimes, I blab on and on… I thought I would just let the pictures do the talking this time 😉 Consider yourself lucky. LOL!

Hey Sweet Mel! I knew YOU would approve. Yes, if feels very calm. I’m sure I’ll add more blankets as Winter nears… but for now it’s perfect.
