Happy Halloween time!
I’m here today sharing the sun room with you, dressed in this season’s latest fashions.
Hot off the runway in Transylvania.
If you like moth eaten, with a side of simple and dash of I got the look in about 5 minutes, then come on!
Spooky Chic Halloween Home Decorating
I’ve been slipping through the house like a Halloween ninja! Slowly adding a little spook factor as I go.
I’ve painted pumpkins
(and shared tips to get great results with no frustration!)
Paid homage to “Something Wicked This Way Comes”
… and landed in the kitchen to give my broomstick a rest.
(if you follow on instagram, I just gave away a set of these cute tea towels!)
.
It was only a mater of time until I slunk my way into the sun room and took the Apothecary cabinet from Fall into full Halloween mode.
I grabbed my handy-dandy Command Brand Picture Hanging Strips and used them to secure a neat Dollar Tree “menu” I picked up last year. They have them again. I saw them in orange and purple. For a buck, I couldn’t beat it!
Just follow the package direction for use and instructions. They come in different sizes, to hold a variety of weights.
These Command brand do-dads provided just the pinch of muggel magic I needed.
Now the menu is securely adhered so it won’t fall over and break my delicate decor.
I don’t want to be throwing hexes all up in here!
Next I used some Command Brand Clear Decorating Hooks to show off the Halloween-Chic Transylvania fashion fabric.
The hooks are ultra simple to use. You simply peel back the correct side of supplied strip, adhere to the hook back, peel off the remaining backing and press firmly to the desired surface area. Wait suggested time, and continue to decorate! Directions are on each package, and again, really easy!!
If you read me frequently, I know I’ve said it before so I’m sorry, but the clear hooks are nothing short of decorating hocus pocus.
They all but disappear. It’s divine!
I can not even tell you how much I love this frivolous feather wreath.
It is deliciously deep black!
I added a touch of this… and that… and you may have noticed, I stole the hat.
I raided the home decor storage room for the two copper pieces you see. I got a couple more new ones to add to the collection while out thrifting last weekend. I can not believe the luck I’ve been having just stumbling across cute copper.
It’s like someone put a spell on me.
As soon as I get them cleaned up, I’ll make sure to share!!
Happy Home Decor Haunting!
